Ramadan 2026 Announcement

In accordance with the announcement of the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA), the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan will be Wednesday, February 18, 2026, Insya Allah.

The first night of Taraweeh prayers will be observed on Tuesday evening.

We ask Allah (SWT) to allow us to reach this noble month, to accept our fasting and prayers, and to unite our community upon goodness and righteousness, Ameen.

I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, “O Messenger of Allah, if I know which night is Laylat al-Qadr, what should I say?”
He replied:

“Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni.
(O Allah, You are Pardoning and love to pardon, so pardon me.)”
